The amazing AI company deepL (awardee of the first-ever Honorary AI Award at the inaugural German AI Awards (Deutscher KI-Preis)) published a beta version of their great translation framework as an application being integrated into your desktop. After installation you just mark any text in any software and press ctrl-c twice. A small window opens and allows you to do the normal operations similar to the Browser version (i.e. checking for alternative formulations, manipulating the text on the fly etc.).
